North China
The "heart" of North China is the North China Plain. This region combines Hebei, Shanxi, Heilongjiang , Liaoning , Jilin provinces, and autonomous region - the Inner Mongolia. Central China
Central China includes the areas along the Yangtze and Huang He River. These are Henan, Hubei and Hunan provinces.

South China
South China unites Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan provinces, Guangxi-Zhuang Autonomous Region and also special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. The island of Taiwan, whose residents consider themselves citizens of the Republic of China, is also a part of southern region of China.
Southerners are much more adventurous than northerners. From time immemorial, they not only traded with all the surrounding countries, but also actively developed new living spaces.
Guangzhou is the administrative center of the province of Guangdong. Guangzhou is the Chinese name of the city, as the Europeans called it Canton. It is the largest economic and cultural center of South China , as well as one of the oldest cities in the world. Guangzhou was founded in the third century BC. Long since it served as a seaport that attracted lots of foreigners.
The brightest place in the South China is the island of Hainan. It is a paradise for tourists, where everyone will find something to enjoy themselves. You can just lie on the white sandy beaches, or go diving, surfing , rafting, underwater hunting , visit primary forests , volcanoes , hot springs and folk villages.

East China
East China includes the following provinces: Anhui, Fujian, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Shandong and Zhejiang, as well as Shanghai Municipality. The region is bordered by the East China and Yellow seas. Its geographical location is rather favourable, coupled with other parts of the country with a dense network of railroads and highways.

Shanghai is China's largest city and the first most populous city in the world. It locates in the Yangtze River Delta in eastern China, Shanghai is an important financial and cultural center of the country, as well as the world's largest sea port.
